Nippon Panels & Woodworking
Nippon has been producing trophy panels for the sportsmen and taxidermists for 75 years. The name, derived from the Nippenose Indians, translates to Land of Bountiful Valleys, Many Streams and Pleasant Hills. Now operating as part of the James Vanderlin Company, complete with a fully-functioning woodworking shop, the company specializes in the creation of quality trophy panels, taxidermy panels, plaques, frames, display units, and desk accessories. Since 1922, the Nippon Panel Company has been known for excellent wildlife panels which have been purchased by sportsmen worldwide. The United Nations, the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball Team, sculptor Jerry McKenna, Bailey Banks and Biddle, Matthews International Corp., and Susquehanna Health Systems are just some of Nippon customers.
We incorporate a choice of fine local hardwoods, beautiful design, top finishes, and the highest quality at reasonable prices. At Nippon, the customer can choose between many local hardwoods such as Walnut, Oak, Mahogany, Cherry, Birch and Maple for solid and veneered products. The soft woods that are available include Poplar and Pine. Whether you are looking to mount your prized bear or create a wooden plaque to reward your most successful sales-representative, you need not look any further. We can create completely customized wooden products that meet your every need. Every order can be custom made. With the James Vanderlin Companies, you are not getting cookie cutter or pressed wood products from China.
There are no minimum orders or size restrictions, and we can easily work in large sizes. Send us a sketch or finished drawing for a free estimate. Remember we are here to serve you. For assistance with any special panels or special orders please contact us. E-mail all queries to Jim Vanderlin or call us at (570) 326-4258.
